The daily seed gives every player on Earth the same procedurally generated course for 24 hours. Winning it is the purest test in the game, because nobody can grind a better route in advance.

Read the modifier first

Each daily ships with a modifier: double gravity, fog of war, inverted hazards. Top players check the modifier before their first run and adjust strategy, because double gravity rewards shallow entries and fog rewards memorised star positions.

Burn your first three attempts scouting

The leaders treat attempts one through three as reconnaissance, not scoring. They note the well spacing and hazard clusters, then attack from attempt four. The players who sprint on attempt one rarely hold top ten by midnight.

"The daily is the only mode where your practice does not transfer. That is exactly why it is the best test."

The midnight reset problem

Seeds rotate at 00:00 UTC. If your session straddles the reset, the course can change mid-run. The clean approach is starting a fresh attempt after the top of the hour rather than carrying one over.

Scoring psychology on shared courses

Because the course is identical, score differences are pure execution. The daily board is where the multiplier maths get brutal: a single dropped chain costs more than any risky pickup could pay back. Play the line, not the loot.

A routine that works

Check modifier (30 seconds), scout three attempts (3 minutes), rest hands (2 minutes), attack. Repeat the attack window twice. Most daily winners log under 25 minutes total.
